Burlington residents encouraged to apply for financial assistance

BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – In case you’re struggling to make ends meet and pay your payments in the course of the pandemic, town of Burlington is providing assist.

The Burlington Electrical Division and the Public Works Division are encouraging companies, residents and nonprofits to use for monetary help to pay past-due electrical, water and sewer payments.

Grants from the Vermont COVID-19 Arrearage Help Program (VCAAP) of as much as $10,000 can be found.

Dec. 15 is the final day to use.

To use and study extra about VCAAP, Burlingtonians can go to https://publicservice.vermont.gov/content/vermont-covid-19-arrearage-assistance-program-0 or name 800.622.4496.
